Grand Opening of Lennox Library and Constituent Service Center

Originally built in 1949, the Lennox Library was the oldest and most outdated library within the County’s Public Library System. The new library is now more than double the size. It includes a children’s section and teen study room, as well as a community meeting room and an adult reading area.
The Constituent Service Center provides venues for public meetings on important issues, as well as space for ongoing educational programs for residents.
Grand Opening of Cerritos Teen Studio

City of Cerritos dedication and open house for the Cerritos Library Teen Studio. Positioned on the first floor at the North West corner, this area has exceptional indirect natural lighting found nowhere else in the library. This natural lighting condition along with the existing glass wall and metal gates led the design team to develop a “California Garden Studio” concept.
The Teen Studio is fully accessible and has 66 seating capacity, five areas are offered for group study from 4 to 8 people, there are 14 lounge / relaxed seats and 18 dedicated computer stations. The space also has two high definition digital posters and a multi screened touch screen media wall, along with two multi-person touch screen display tables with internet capabilities. Internet connectivity is available for personal laptop / notebook connections through plug-in or WIFI access.
Upcoming Project - Castaic Library Renovation

The new 12,250 sq. ft. library will be located in the same retail center in a stand-alone building that will have complete interior and exterior renovations. The library improvements will include a public meeting room for 115 occupants, group study rooms, a teen library with gaming zone and a children's library with family area. Other improvements include increased seating for studying, reading and relaxing, new public computer workstations and three express self-checkout station.
Upcoming Project - Stevenson Ranch Library
September 2014
The new 11,551 sq. ft. library will include a public meeting room for 90 occupants, group study rooms, a teen area and a children's library with family area and discovery zone learning center. Other improvements include increased seating for studying, reading and relaxing, new public computer workstations and three express self-checkout station. Construction is scheduled for completion in January 2015.
